Following the temple, we partook of vege food (similar to the Cao Daians) before heading back, approx 40kms to the second set of the Cu Chi tunnels – over 250kms of tunnel spreading from the\u00a0Cambodian border to Ho Chi Minh City. The tunnels were 60x80cm smaller in places and dark, hot with poor ventilation. At the tunnels we saw maps and cross-sections of the tunnels, some appalling man traps and we crawled through approx 130m of tunnels. As with us, progress is hot dirty, and very slow. 20 hrs to go 30kms.

After arriving back in the city and checking our emails at 400 dong per minute \/ 50c per 10 mins. We headed off to dinner at the restaurant below. It was great. highly recommended. With Peter and Glenys, we ate many of the local animals. Between us all and a number of Tiger Beers, we polished off the following: spring rolls, frog shanks, snails, clams, beef, salmon, cuttlefish and, wait for it…porcupine (with spines on it)
We collected the 8 films we had put in for processing @ 44000 Dong per film. A quick look through over a beer with Peter and Glenys before an end to our second last day in Vietnam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
