Thanks to our friends (in high places thx J&N)we are staying in Canc\u00fan in a resort on the beach opposite Isla Mujeres. Women island.<\/p>\n

On our arrival the children could not believe there eyes! ” we have never stayed anywhere like this before!!!!!” ” and probably never will again” interjected Bella.<\/p>\n

The gingerbread house was the first thing to impress.<\/p>\n

Then there was the night view from our unit.<\/p>\n

Then there was the view the next morning!!!!<\/p>\n

The children were in heaven!!! And the parents were pretty impressed as well!<\/p>\n

Canc\u00fan is a resort city. The are hotels everywhere targeted at a PARTICULAR type of guest. Some of them may be seen in the background of some of our photos. You know the ones who buffet 3 times a day and never leave the resort. Well at least we left the resort!!!!<\/p>\n

This week was meant to be a relaxing week after all that hard travelling!!!!!<\/p>\n

Our first day was spent totally by the pool. Even the ever ready bunny Simon spent all day by the pool!!!! ( Sipping Tequilla he says ) We have had our excursions because we can’t sit still for too long and now we are moving on again to a 40 degree change in temperature!!!!! Canada (and Geoff and Erin) here we come!

Kids Corner:
\nThe Mexican drivers are crazy – watch out. The resort was fantastic! Wills
\nSometimes when we were driving around mum and dad turned into Mexican drivers! I also loved Isla Mujeres. Abi.
\nThe pools at the resort were awesome. I liked swimming all day but there was only one kids spa and 3 for the grown ups. Isla Mujeres was loads of fun but very windy. Bel.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
